1. Parties and scope
This membership agreement and terms of use ("Terms") are between Türkiye Startups (contact: hello@turkiyestartups.com) ("Türkiye Startups") and each member. By creating an account you accept these Terms.
2. What the platform is
Türkiye Startups is an introduction and communication platform connecting startups with investors, mentors and ecosystem organisations. It does not collect funds, broker securities, give investment advice or guarantee any investment, and is not a party to agreements between members. Members make their own decisions and do their own due diligence.
3. Membership
You must be at least 18 and provide true, current information. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account. One person may hold one account; organisations are represented by authorised persons.
4. Your content and the rights you grant
You remain the owner of the information, texts, logos, images, documents and links you submit ("Content"). By submitting Content you: • allow Türkiye Startups to publish it on the platform, show it to members and visitors in Türkiye and abroad, translate, format and promote it (for example in newsletters and social media) for the duration of your membership, free of charge; • declare that the Content is accurate and not misleading, that you are authorised to represent the startup or organisation concerned, and that you hold all rights, licences and permissions needed (including consent of any person whose personal data appears in it); • declare that the Content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, trade secrets or any other rights of third parties. You are solely responsible for your Content and will indemnify Türkiye Startups against claims arising from it.
5. Review and moderation
Startup profiles are published only after review by our team, and changes to them are reviewed again. We may refuse, edit for formatting, hide or remove Content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these Terms or the law — without having to give reasons in urgent cases.
6. Prohibited conduct
• Insulting, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, threatening or harassing content; • false, misleading or fraudulent information, impersonation, fake funding claims; • public offers of securities or crowdfunding outside the licensed framework (Capital Markets Law No. 6362), pyramid schemes; • spam, unsolicited advertising, scraping or automated access, attempts to breach security; • sharing others' personal data without a legal basis.
7. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". Türkiye Startups does not verify every statement made by members and is not liable for the accuracy of member Content, for investment outcomes or for disputes between members, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time by writing to hello@turkiyestartups.com. We may end membership for breaches of these Terms. Sections on content rights already exercised, liability and governing law survive termination.
9. Changes, law and jurisdiction
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced on the platform and members are asked to accept them again. These Terms are governed by Turkish law; Istanbul (Çağlayan) courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules.
